Not a decorative community tank
A standard aquarium is the wrong choice. Geometry and flow must match how jellyfish swim and how fragile they are. Spec: species, circulation, service access, visual constraints.

Jellyfish
Flow, tank shape and joint quality decide whether a jellyfish aquarium works. For 15 years we have built species-specific tanks and custom krisels for professional use. Workshop only: cut, hot-bend, hot-weld.

Steady flow, no sharp corners. Over-direct filtration stresses the animals. Clean regularly; partial water change every two weeks — never a full empty.
A one-piece cast acrylic jellyfish tank avoids bonded joints on the cylinder. PVC base hot-welded. Far lower risk of leaks or delamination over time.

Frequently asked questions
No. Jellyfish cannot live in a community fish tank. They need a kreisel: steady flow, no dead spots, stable temperature.
Acrylic for the clear tubular body. PVC for the base and technical parts, hot-welded — less leak risk than bonding the cylinder.
